This week has been rather boring for GPU enthusiasts.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 in three weeks
Manufacturers are preparing for yet another GTX Turing launch. We have been sharing news about the GTX 1650 for a while now, but it seems that the card is finally coming (possibly even the series). The first model, the GTX 1650 non-Ti, is currently expected around April 22nd. This is likely the date when the cards go on sale, the review or unboxing embargoes might be different. It is worth noting that this date was provided by AIBs, NVIDIA has not yet reached out to reviewers about the new graphics card.
The GeForce GTX 1650 is supposedly based on Turing TU117 GPU. The core count remains unknown, but we are expecting an increase compared to GTX 1050 series. The memory will also be upgraded for the non-Ti variant. The GTX 1050 has 2GB GDDR5 on board, while the GTX 1650 will start with 4GB of GDDR5 memory.
We are not expecting more GTX 16 series cards at this moment. The GTX 1650 and GTX 1650 Ti will likely be the last of the series.
